SPECIAL SPOTLIGHT THEATRE is a theatre group for children and adults with special needs. They meet at the Henegar Center in historic downtown Melbourne. The long- term goal of the group is to provide cultural enrichment for all ages. This is an outstanding program that enhances social skills and hand-eye coordination. Performing, dancing and socializing help to promote high self-esteem and encourage friendship.
Artistic director and choreographer Marilyn Roget brought her expertise and talents to us from New York City. She has performed a valuable service to this community since 1982.

To Provide Hope, Education, Advocacy and Resources for caregivers/families of persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities
We are pleased to announce this new monthly support group for caregivers/families of persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities which will meet on the 3rd Tuesday of every month at 10:30 a.m.!
Our Motto: We hear you...and we are here for you.
Our Mission: is to provide personal and group support to caregivers/families that are on the journey of caring for loved ones with intellectual and developmental disabilities using multifaceted methods to include education, resource identification and camaraderie.
Our Goals: Our Support Group meetings are designed to empower caregivers and connect them emotionally, educationally and socially. It is a support group with the purpose of sharing, listening, learning from and being supportive of each other. It is our hope that as a member you have the opportunity to:
